Margie Ann Hill October 3, 1933 - June 27, 2015 Margie is survived by daughters Sandy Merriman, Cindy Lee and Becky Hill. Her grandchildren are Ashley Merriman, Shan Merriman, Jason Lee and one great granddaughter Aryana. Margie was born to Othey and Bill Faulk on October 3, 1933 in Big Sandy Texas. She graduated from Big Sandy High School in 1950. She attended Kilgore College, becoming a Kilgore Rangerette for a short time and on to beauty school. Margie became a hairdresser at Rose's Beauty Shop and eventually a partner. She loved her work. Margie married Douglas R. Hill on February 27, 1953. They moved to Dallas, Texas and began a family. Margie and Doug were married 57 years. When the Kids were in their teens, Marge decided to go into the archery business including, an indoor archery range. She enjoyed hunting and tournaments. Marge decided to stay home after a few years to have more family time. She loved to cook, sew, and all kinds of crafts. She was a dedicated member of Bally's Gym going to work out every day. She wanted to be in shape for the adventures of her grandchildren. Her health took a change with the onset of cancer in August of 2014. She fought cancer bravely but losing this battle on June 27, 2015. Margie was an inspiration to the oncology staff and other patients. Margie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a great outlook on life along with a list of life's lessons to share with us and so we will say goodbye in her tradition I love you a whole bunch, a whole bunch of little bunches, a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck and all that jazz.
