Ofelia "Tita" Hernandez

Ofelia Hernandez "Tita" was born in Dallas Texas on July 19, 1949, and was called to Heaven by Our Lord Jesus Christ on February 18, 2022. She Married Eleuterio Hernandez Jr in 1967 and moved to Garland Texas in 1973. Tita was a Beautiful person inside and out. No matter who you were, she would make you feel like family, and had the best hospitality anyone could offer. Her smile, laughter, and love she had for everyone was genuine. Tita was special and definitely a one of a kind. She had the biggest heart ever and would give you her last piece of bread. Tita helped everyone with food, clothing and prayers. It didn't matter what time of day or night you called. If you needed prayer, she would jump up and do God's work without hesitation. Tita was truly a Warrior of The Lord. Once you met Tita, you would never forget her. She left a lasting impression on you, that would surely change your life. Tita loved to Dance and always have Fun. She brought the best out of everyone. We Miss You Mom So Much . Our lives will never be the same here on earth. But because of God's Promise, we shall meet again in Heaven, Amen! Ofelia "Tita" is preceded in death by: her parents: Juan & Ofelia Ojeda; her brother, Juan Ojeda Jr.; and her sister, Delores Salgado. Ofelia (Tita) is survived by: her loving husband, Eleuterio Hernandez, Jr.; her daughters, Priscilla Garza (Manuel) and Berlinda Hernandez; her son, Eleuterio "Tito" Hernandez, III; her grandaughter Priscilla Ann Aguilar (Jhovany); three grandsons, Rolando Hernandez, Manuel Garza, Jr. and Chris Hernandez; two great-granddaughters, Alizay Ariana Hernandez and Briella Ann Aguilar; one great-grandson, Jhovany Antonio Aguilar, Jr.; seven sisters, two brothers many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. A Celebration of Tita's Life will take place on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 2:00PM in the Chapel at Eastgate Funeral Home. "...he will wipe every tear from their eyes.
