Steven Wayne Casteel, 61, died on Friday, May 22, 2015 in Sunnyvale, Texas. Steven was born January 1, 1955 in Cleveland, Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Barbie Ragland Casteel; his son, Steven Casteel and his wife Audrey; his daughters, Robin and her husband Kenny Wigginton and Brandie Casteel and her boyfriend Marcus; step children, Stephanie and her husband Josh Berry Hill, Steve Ragland and Susan and her husband Jason Vo; his grandchildren Christian, Dustin, Cameron, Steven, Cheyenne, Brooklyn, Tristin and Brenden; great-grandchildren Kyle and Natalie; his siblings, Joyce, Carol, Brenda, Danny and David and numerous nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Barbara Ann Coldiron and many other family members and close friends.. Steve was a genuine man known for his love for his loving wife, family and Nascar, not necessarily in that order. Some of us called him Big Steve, nick name for Big Love if you ask me. He loved with his whole heart unconditionally. He would always lend a helping hand, give advice, cheer you up and you could bet he would always be giving the people he loved a hard time about something -all in fun to keep it light so we didn't get too serious. Steve will be dearly missed by his wife, family and friends. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Eastgate Funeral Home in Garland, Texas. So long friend, 'til we see you again.
