Mary C. Cruz "Mom" was born on July 3, 1940 in Crandall, TX. Our Beloved Mother of 73 years passed away on March 4, 2014. Mary C. Cruz was married to John A. Cruz of 47 years, who she now joins in heaven. To most of us Mary was known as Mom, to her great- grandchildren she was grandma she loved family gatherings and sitting on her swing watching her grandchildren play at our family home. She was feisty, always told us how it was and always to the point, she loved her gardens and was very proud of her roses. Of all the things she taught us and left us to remember, it was our hard-working "I can do it myself" ethic. Mary was an amazing woman that loved the lord and wanted nothing but the best for her family. She was full of life and energy and was always there to help others in need. She was deeply loved and admired by all who knew her. Mary is survived by her 4 daughters Mary Ann Cruz, Dianna Cruz, Nancy & Scott Sharpe and Gloria Cruz; Her eight grand children and their spouses: Roxsan & Daniel Luna, Kristen & Erik Rostro, Amanda & Jessie Bailey, Michael Watson, Samantha & Alan Snowden, Nicole Arroyo, Hannah Sharpe and Dewey Godfrey; her twelve great-grandchildren: Elaina Miranda, Gabriella Macias, Alexandro Miranda, Madison Miranda, Makayla Watson, Aryanna Rostro, Ayla Snowden, Sofie Rostro, Ethan Bailey, Zoe Wokal, Mia Rostro and Jensen Snowden (due 6/21/14); her sister Francis Rezenchek and many nieces
