Memorial services for Barbara Sterling will be held at 2PM on Saturday, August 21, 2021, in the Chapel at Eastgate Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 5-7PM on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Eastgate Funeral Home. Barbara Louise Sterling passed away on August 4, 2021.She was born July 24, 1934 in Dallas Tx. to Millard H. Harvey and Katherine A. Dyer. Barbara was a graduate of W.H. Adamson High School in Dallas Tx. She loved her family and friends. May she rest in peace. Barbara was preceded in death by: her loving husband, James N. Sterling Sr.; her brother, Millard E. Harvey; and her parents, Millard H.Harvey and Katherine A. Dyer. She is survived by: her children, Bobee Kay Strickland of Dallas, Rebecca Bearden and husband Jerry of Caddo Mills , James N. Sterling Jr. of Dallas, Melanie Ferrell and husband Lee of Rowlett, and Mike Sterling and wife Sheila of Forney; eleven grandchildren, Brandon Strickland, Shellee Strickland, Robert Dorman and wife Shannon, Kasandra Smith and husband Matt, Mathew Dorman and wife Kristen, Katrina Ray and husband Brandt, Leia Whitley, Malissa Beasley, Cody Beasley, Kordel Sterling and Hunter Ferrell; thirteen great-grandchildren, Dianna Strickland, Robert Strickland, Justin Strickland, Kallee Strickland and Pierce VanHoozer; and two great-great-grandchildren. Barbara is also survived by her sister, Mrs. A.D. (Joan) Robinson and the family.
