William Cross was born in Dallas, Texas on December 26th, 1939 to Thelma Jewel Morris Cross, and Charles Clifford Cross, and died on June 16, 2021 at hospital at the age of 81 from a concussion and stroke. William is survived by his wife Luba Grassi, his daughter's Anna M. Cross, Teresa A. Clouse, and his son William W. Cross, Jr.; grandchildren Cody L. Pittman, Braxton K. Clouse, Briley A. Clouse, great grandson Jacob L. Rojo; his sister Jennie L. Cross Allen, his brother Roland E. Cross, William's dog Sam, and many, many other friends and relatives. William was a career retired army staff sergeant, he served for 20 years, traveling to many locations around the world and served in the VietNam war. Over the course of his life, William enjoyed scuba diving, camping, hunting, fishing, traveling, telling jokes, and making friends everywhere he went.
