Jean Jesse (Geneva M. Podd Jesse), age 99, of Rockwall, Tx, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2021 in Wolfe City, Tx. She was born November 30, 1921 in Cicero, Illinois to the late Edgar C. And Lauretta L. Hineline. After retiring from secretary work at a doctor's office, Jean spent her time traveling, square dancing and volunteering at Baylor Hospital in Garland, Tx. She loved bluebonnets and collected teapots. Jean faithfully prayed for her family and friends. Her favorite life scripture verse was Galatians 2:20. Jean leaves behind as her personal testimony: John 14 and Psalm 103 Preceded in death by husbands: William R. Podd of 26 years & Alfred E. Jesse of 33 years Brother: Vernon C. Murphy & husband Stephen of Eustace, TX fifteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren A Celebration of Life for Jean will begin at 4:00PM on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the Rest Haven Funeral Home, located at 2500 Highway 66 in Rockwall, Texas. Inurnment at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
