Charlene Diane Lauritsen was born on June 1, 1954 in Seattle, Washington. She passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021, in Dallas, Texas. Charlene was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Beverly Cladek, her brother, Gary Cladek, and her first husband of 37 years, Mark Lauritsen. She is survived by her husband, Bill Pockrus; her children Jennifer Prestridge and husband Shawn; Melody DeLuca and her husband Joel; David Lauritsen and his wife Ashley; Jonathan Lauritsen and his wife Carissa; Christina Lauritsen; Daniel Lauritsen and his wife Katy; her brothers Doug Cladek and Glen Cladek; Sister-in-laws Margaret and Kim; her cousin Sherrie Jones; several neices and nephews; and her beloved grandchildren Grant, Kate, Sawyer, Sloane, Harlow, Ava, Annabelle, Crew, and Sage; and many friends and co-workers who will miss her dearly. Charlene left a lasting impact on many individuals throughout her life's career as a nurse. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be missed by many. Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Woodcreek Church in Richardson. Due to Covid, all persons will be required to wear a mask upon building entry and until seated inside auditorium. Seating will be socially distanced. Following Charlene's Celebration of Life service, the family will have a private graveside service and burial.
