Cristopher Choo-Choo Guardado

Cristopher A. Guardado of Garland, Tx died December 25th, 2020 as a result of injuries he sustained from an accidental shooting on December 19th. He was born November 26th, 2004 on Thanksgiving day to Cristian Guardado, Sr. and Jacola Beasley. He played football from the age of 5 with the Garland Sharks and was currently attending Garland High School as a sophomore and team player of the Varsity Owl football team. Cristopher, also known as "Choo-Choo" had many friends and extended family that he had inherited from his mere love for the game. He played both baseball and football for various teams in both Garland and Dallas. He also volunteered at the Garland Buddy League, an organization that allows children with disabilities to play baseball. He had many friends, also known as "brothers" who will truly miss him. His passion for sports, his great big smile and his hilarious way to always make you laugh through any situation are just some of the reasons. He leaves behind a tremendously large group of extended family to include the Garland Owls and GPWF Sharks. He had a very special bond with his mom Jacola and his brother Cristian Guardado, Jr. The three of them had something very unique and it was admired by many that knew them. It was a unit of strength, resilience, determination and loyalty. Those same characteristics could be witnessed when he played any game on any field. Choo is survived by both his parents, Cristian Sr of El Salvador and Jacola Beasley of Dallas; His two brothers Cristian Jr. 18, and Joshua Guardado, 4 of El Salvador; His fraternal grandparents, Vicente Resuleo and Milagro Guardado; He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins in Virginia; He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jeffrey Willis and Marilyn Beasley. Choo was an organ and tissue donor. In keeping with Choo's legacy of strength and love for life, through his passing, he was able to donate life to others. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Eastgate Funeral Home in Garland Texas. Visitation hours will be Sunday, January 3rd from 6-8pm. The funeral will be held Monday the 4th at 12:00pm. Due to the recent pandemic, the funeral will be private but visitation is open. CDC Guidelines will be followed therefore masks are required as well as social distancing.
