Lillie Boyles

Lillie A. Boyles, 89 of Mesquite, Texas, born in Canton, Texas, passed away December 3, 2020. She was reunited in heaven with her son, Earl Boyles. She is survived by: her husband, CJ Boyles; her daughter, Linda Sutton; her two granddaughters, Kristy Pirrello (husband: Tim Pirrello), April Murphy (husband: Zach Murphy); and her six great-grandchildren, Dax Pirrello, PJ Pirrello, Nora Pirrello, Lilly Pirrello, Emma Kaye Murphy, Collins Murphy. Our Lillie, Mother, Mamaw, was an awe-inspiring and incredible woman. She was like no other; so thoughtful and giving and also very head-strong. From an early age, she was not going to let others decide for her what she could or couldn't do. At a young age, she pioneered the way and joined the boys' baseball team in Canton! Not only was she the only female to play, she also hit a homerun just like the boys! (And even made the local newspaper!) This strong-willed, confident woman is who we learned from, who we admired, who we loved so deeply. Our Lillie loved her family and pets with all her heart. She was an extraordinary cook, flawless seamstress, captivating story-teller and amazing bowler and card player. She was feisty in the best way and had a wonderful sense of witty humor. She also had a special way of creating unique and strong bonds with each of the people she loved most. Even though she is going to be missed dearly, we are so grateful for the lessons she's taught us, sweet memories she's given us, funny moments that we continue to laugh about, advice she's given us and most importantly, her guidance in showing us how to be strong, confident, carefree, take-no-bs women. Beyond loved, beyond cherished, beyond missed, admired, needed and treasured; that's our Lillie, Mother, Mamaw. We are truly blessed by your love and life and look forward to the day we will reunite again. Until then, relish now in your freedom, peace and happiness...spread your beautiful wings! We love you so much!
