Ardith went to claim her reserved seat in heaven on Tuesday afternoon, December 1, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents Glen Vincent Carroll and Rosalyn Juliette Carroll; and one sister; Shirley Andrea McLeod. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, George Weston Clemmons; one brother; Mark Anthony Carroll; Son, Gary G. Clemmons and wife, Patricia Estes; daughters, Sherry D. Woodall; Lisa L. Simmons and husband, Billy D. Simmons; Grandchildren; James W. Regan and wife, Melissa; April D. Regan; Steven E. Simmons; Jamie K. Woodall; Kristopher R. Woodall; Great Grandson; Rembrandt A. Woodall, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Ardith was born on March 15, 1941 in Berkeley, California where she grew up in Oakland, California and spent much of her time at her Grandmother Albright's beach house at Moss beach near Half Moon Bay. Ardith and her husband George were married on January 10, 1959 at her Grandmother Albright's house in Oakland, California. She was a military wife through most of her husband's career in the Air Force while he was serving in country and overseas. She enjoyed caring for and spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, family members and friends. She was kind, made friends easily and enjoyed helping others. When her grandchildren attended elementary school, she volunteered after school to tutor children that needed extra help.
