Carolyn Joy Robertson, 77 passed away Wednesday March 5th, 2014. She was born in Sulphur Springs Tx. on November 13th 1936 to Charlie and Marguerite Watkins. She Graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1955. In 1959 Doctors Hospital at Whiterock in Dallas was established and Carolyn went to work there five months later in 1960. She retired from Doctors Hospital after over 40 years of service and was honored as the longest standing employee. Carolyn was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and admired the late great coach, Tom Landry. Carolyn was also a devoted longtime member of the Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Mesquite, where she enjoyed much of her time in the fellowship, and found her most enduring friendships over her lifetime. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Charles O.Watkins Jr. and her brother Jerry C. Watkins. She is survived by her nephews Charles Scott Watkins, David C. Watkins and her niece Sharon G. Smith. Her visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. and her Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday March 10th at the Eastgate Funeral Home Chapel in Garland, Texas.
