Dorothy Griffin (1948-2015) Dorothy Ann Griffin passed peacefully from this life on the morning of March 31, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Direct and Paris, TX, Dorothy graduated from Central High School. She enjoyed playing basketball and often sang in church. Dorothy married her husband of 50 years, David Griffin of Paris on August 20, 1964. Together they raised 3 children. Dorothy was the "glue" that held all things together in her family. She adored her 3 boys and later became known as "Honey" to all of her grandchildren. Her family was her life! She was known by all for her amazing cooking and candy making. She worked at Kimberly Clark in Paris for 27 years and loved all of her KC friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Jamie and Hartense Collard, and mother in law, Lydia Griffin. She is survived by her husband David, three children (and spouses) Paul Griffin of Paris, Craig Griffin (Ashley) of Bixby, OK, Joshua Griffin (Laurel) of Atlanta, GA, brother Neil Collard (Sherry) of Emerson, and 10 grandchildren. An informal gathering of her family and friends will be held at 2630 Cindy Ln, Reno, TX- Twin Lakes Subdivision on Saturday April 4th from 2pm-5pm.
