Judy Robertson

Judy was a loving mother and wife. She lived a long and adventurous life. She is best known as the owner of The Texas Star in Dallas. She leaves behind her daughter, Jena Robertson and bonus son Kevin McPherson. She joins her late husband Jerry Hall Robertson, Sr. and son, Jerry aka Jay Robertson, Jr. Jay was well known as the singing Texas Star, his generous heart and loving personality. Judy told it like it was, always. She had a feisty passion for life. She loved people and entertaining, which made her the heart of the family and The Texas Star. She will be remembered as a woman who lived her life with great strength and humility. Those that new her well, knew she had a passion for gambling and cooking. She was known as The Gambler. Not only was she a VIP at the casinos, but she was a VIP in everyone's life. She was passionate about her charities and was often found volunteering and cooking at St. Plus Catholic Church. She leaves behind a legacy in the kitchen there. She was well loved and had a strong bond with the late Monsignor Thomas W. Weinzapfe. For a moment of remembrance, please lift a cold Coors Lite in her honor. The family asks that memorials be made to St. Jude Charities in her name.
