Blake Russell Stewart

Blake Russell Stewart, 35 of Dallas, Texas. Born on March 19, 1985 in Houston, Texas to proud parents, Evelyn Alice Stewart and Raul Davila, Jr., Blake grew up and attended school in Houston and eventually migrated to Dallas, Texas. Prior to his passing, Blake provided home cleaning & concierge services to prominent clients. Blake had a natural talent for the arts, especially for his drawings/sketches and aptitude for self-taught guitar playing; the louder the better! Blake loved and rescued animals from an early age and was never without a beloved dog or cat; he loved the felines. You could often find Blake cuddling up on the couch with his Mom, watching one of their favorite comedies; as we all know laughter is contagious and his laughter filled a room. As a sports enthusiast, Blake never missed his favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys followed by the LSU Tigers. Blake was an avid gamer and a big kid at heart. The family wants Blake to be remembered for his huge heart, kind and gentle soul, and his knack for treating everyone like family. Blake is survived by his mother Alice Stewart, father Raul Davila, Jr.; grandmother Dolores Davila, sister Kelly (Stevie & family); aunts: Stephanie Savage, Patricia Davila-Fuentes (Javier), Dolores Staffin (Jeff); uncles: Christian Stewart, Russ Stewart (Heather), Fabian Davila; great aunts Trudy Berger & Lorla Boswell (Bill); great uncle P. Michael Stewart (Michelle), and numerous cousins and friends. Blake was preceded in death by grandparents Charles & Evelyn Stewart, and Roy Davila. The family warmly welcomes all who loved Blake to a celebration of life service to be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Eastgate Funeral Home Due to COVID-19, attendees are required to wear a face mask in the facility.
