Cameron Brian Hagins

Cameron Brian Hagins was born on 5/13/66 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He was the first born of Loyd and Betty Hagins, and grew up in Mesquite, Texas. Cameron attended schools in Mesquite, Texas and graduated from North Mesquite High School on May, 1984. He was member of the band, and participated in soccer, and basketball. He attended Eastfield College in Mesquite, Texas, and Richland College in Richardson, Texas. While a senior in high school he started his career in the Title Business and continued in that profession for many years. Cameron made a profession of faith at the age of 17 and was baptized at Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas. Cameron passed from this life on July 31, 2020 in Plano Texas at the age of 54. Family was so very important to him, along with music, sports, travel and crossword puzzles. He was a numbers man, and could recall every date of super bowls, name of team and scores of teams participating. Cameron is survived by Yvonne Lelko, wife, companion, and best friend for twenty-five years, along with her Mom and Dad, Paul and Shirley Lelko of Plano, Texas, and family members who cared for him deeply. Cameron is survived by his mother, Betty Hagins of Forney, Texas, his brother Brandon, Hagins and wife (Stacy) of Shamrock, Oklahoma, niece, (Kailey), nephew, (Trenton) of Shamrock, Oklahoma, and niece (Samantha), great-niece (Blakelee Grace) and nephew (Shay) Stout of Wichita, Kansas. He is also survived by Uncle (Edward) of Soper, Oklahoma, and Aunt (Lucille) of Garland, Texas, Aunt (Martha) of Doddridge, Arkansas, and many cousins and great cousins and friends. He also leaves behind their sweet kittens, Gracie Girl and Tiny Jack. Cameron is pre-deceased by his Dad, Loyd Hagins, Grandmother, Mrs. Lillie Mae Bean, Grandfather, Oma Fred Bean, Grandmother, Opal Hagins, and Grandfather, Will Hagins, and many uncles, aunts and cousins. The Celebration of Life of Cameron's life is scheduled at Meadows Baptist Church, Plano, Texas, August 22, 2020 at 2:00 P.M., and will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to your local ASPCA, or charity of your choice. We thank you each for your prayers, love and support, which helps so much.
