Liza Elizabeth Scott age 59, of Dallas Texas, born on April 24th 1961, left this earth to be with her creator on July 17, 2020. She is survived by her father Joe R. Scott and Susan Scott, stepmother, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, her uncle Mike Scott of Houston, her sister Lana Kocorek and brother-in-law James Kocorek of Garland Texas, her brother Joe R. Scott Jr. and sister-in-law Mitzi Scott of Rowlett Texas, and nephews Ben and Bryson Scott – whom she loved. She is also survived by her beloved friend and constant companion, Karen Winkler, of Dallas, TX, and soul brothers John London of Sulpur Springs, Texas, Alan Taus, and Jason Wamoff of Hot Springs, CA. Liza found solace in nature and loved animals. She was a great athlete and loved sports along with surfing, hiking and just being outdoors. She followed the Native American spiritual path and particularly identified with the Lakota Sioux. She enjoyed the opportunity to attend Sundance in recent years - a Native American ritual which occurs every July on sacred grounds in Colorado. She is loved beyond measure and will be missed by many.
