Stacie Elizabeth Konecny, 43, with family and loved ones at her side passed away at Medical City Plano on Monday, January 20th, 2020 after a short battle with Angiosarcoma. Her hope and faith remained strong during her illness. She was always planning her next trip! Stacie was born May 10th, 1976 in Garland, Texas to Joe and Joyce Konecny. Growing up she was very active at Calico Kids in Garland and won numerous awards in twirling and pageants. She graduated from Garland High School in 1994. Her greatest achievement was earning her Masters Degree in Public Safety with a specialization in Criminal Justice in 2016. Her interests included traveling the world with her mom, Joyce. Attending Foo Fighter concerts with her best friend and roommate Nikki, aka "sister", and confiding with her partner in crime Helen. She enjoyed promoting her Paparazzi Jewelry as the "Southern Bling Lady." Stacie had a huge heart and would help anyone in need. You could always count on her to be by your side when you were down. Stacie is survived by her parents, Joe and Joyce Konecny of Garland, her sister Stephanie (Konecny) Pruden, 2 nephews, "Good Boy" Chad Cochran, and "Baby Good Boy" Connor Pruden of St. Croix Falls, WI. She loved her "Good Boys" as her own. Many aunts, uncles, and cousin across the country. A Celebration of Life will be held at Siciliano's, A Taste of Italy, 2210 W. Buckingham Rd. in Garland on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 from 1:30 – 4:30. Little snacks will be provided. Funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 600 S. Jupiter Rd. in Richardson, TX on Monday, February 3rd, 2020 at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers, please, make a donation in Stacie's honor to Cureasc.org.
