Winston Coleman died at home on Friday, December 6th, 2019 at the age of 24. He was born in Dallas to loving parents, Todd and Barbara Coleman. He was a graduate of Highland Park High School in 2013. Winston was a proud Eagle Scout of Troop 35. He truly lived the life of an Eagle Scout in both action and deed. He had a huge heart and was known to go above and beyond the call, for those in need of his assistance. Whether it was helping a friend obtain a job interview or helping someone find safety, Winston was a generous soul. On more than one occasion he saved the life of a complete stranger, who found themselves in danger. Winston's skills as an Eagle Scout would take over and he would willingly jump into any situation, without thought or concern about his own wellbeing. Winston Coleman was a character from the very beginning. As a young boy, he and many of his lifelong friends would dominate their Highland Park neighborhood in what may have originally appeared to be a small gang of BMX riding renegades. Although truth be told, they were merely out seeking adventure, together, day in and day out. An avid outdoorsman, he adored his beloved Coon Creek, where he and his parents spent almost every weekend from the day he was born. He loved to fish but was also known to be an excellent marksman. Winston loved shooting clays and his favorite pastime was duck hunting. Excellent at camping, he served as the resident expert on the rare skill of fire building. No one could build a fire like Winston Coleman. In the last few years Winston had truly begun to hone his skills in the culinary arts. He had found his true passion. He was known as an excellent cook with talent. His team considered him witty, compassionate, funny and a friend with a kind soul. Mostly, he loved being surrounded by his family and friends. His warmth and kindness lit up the room, his wit and sense of humor were endless. His laughter filled the home and with the soul of a caretaker, he touched many hearts. Winston is survived by his parents Todd and Barbara Coleman, Grandparents; Sue and Randy Ransone, Susan and Michael Rogers, David, Cathie, Drake and Sam Coleman, Robert and Patti Ransone, Pam Kvarnstrom He is preceded in death by his Grandfather Larry Coleman. The outpouring of love and support for the family had been overwhelming and Winston's parents, in particular, would like to share their appreciation. We know that Winston is at peace now and his spirit is with us always. Services will be held…..
