Curtis Wayne Perrymore, 53, entered into rest on December 9, 2019 in Plano, Texas. Curtis was born on October 10, 1966 to Troy and Florence Perrymore in Oxnard, CA. He was born into a military family, following in his father's footsteps and proudly joining the military after high school. He served as a US Marine and later in the Air Force Reserves. Curtis always had a passion for law enforcement, serving as a deputy in Haskell County OK, a Police Officer with UT Arlington and finally as a contract security officer with the Department of Homeland Security. Curtis was a devoted family man, very protective of those he considered family, and was especially protective of Kim and Jonathan. He was an avid gun enthusiast from an early age and enjoyed building guns in recent years. He also had a passion for shooting sports and reading. Curtis enjoyed spending time with his family and working around the house, but being a father to Jonathan was his joy in life. He has passed his love of reading and his kind heart to his son. He loved animals and had numerous loyal pets in his lifetime; his love of animals was part of the reason he and Kim began dating. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 15 years Kimberly, loving son Jonathan, and family friend Cyndi Rudd, his in-laws Glenn and Linda Burns, mother Florence Davis O'Bryan, sister Lori Reeves and her husband Stephen, bonus mother Betty Perrymore Tanner, brothers, Lawrence DeWayne Terrell and wife Michelle, and Billy Joe Terrell, and numerous nieces and nephews. Curtis is preceded in death by his father Troy Wayne Perrymore and bonus father Charles Robert O'Bryan. Curtis will be deeply missed by his loving family, his devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
