Elizabeth Ann Shepperd Hassell, 85, of Quinlan, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, November 10, 2019. Elizabeth Ann was born on July 8, 1934 to Roy and Katie Darby in Rowlett, TX. She was the youngest of seven children. Ann was a graduate of Garland High School Class of 1951. She later married and had three sons Mike, Rick and Randy Noble. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking for her family especially during the holidays. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Jimmy Hassell; three sons, Mike Noble of Quinlan, TX., Rick (Patti) Noble of Garland, TX., and Randy (Donna) Noble of Ducktown, TN.; grandchildren, Michael Glenn Noble of Dallas, TX., Erin Noble Jackson, (Jason) of Harleton, TX., Lauren Noble, Patrick Noble of Garland, TX. Miranda Noble Finney (Cody) of Royse City, TX. Cory (Deborah) Noble of Sulphur Springs; great-grandchildren, Christopher Eudy, Jake Jackson of Harleton, TX. Tristan Finney, Scarlett Finney, Preston Finney and Savannah Finney all of Royse City, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Katie Darby; brothers, A.D. Darby, Edsel Darby; sisters, Marie Sebastian, Freddie D. Carroll, Peggy Burk, and Kate Middleton. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 22nd at 12:00 pm at First Baptist Church Garland, 801 W Avenue D, Garland, TX. 75040 with Pastor Jack Schmid officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the Celebration of Life and a private burial will be held at a later date.
