David Wynn Booker lived, worked, and loved -almost his entire life- in Dallas County, TX. At exactly 59 and ? years of age, David left this world on January 28th, 2015, after a battle with cancer. The second child of Raymond and Ruby Booker, David was preceded in death by his father, brother Larry, sister Patricia, and mother. As a teen, he fell in love and married fellow teenager, Pamela Taylor after high school in Seagoville, TX. They shared their entire lives together; 42 years as husband and wife. Their children, Melissa, David, and Philip benefited from their commitment to each other and family. David worked with his hands and was a plumber for most of his life, but he was good with really anything mechanical. If it was broke and a man made it, David figured he could fix it. He was always working and worked up to a week before the cancer took him. He didn't have an "Off" button. David is survived by: His wife; two sons; daughter and son-in-law Harvey; granddaughters Brooke, Brianna, and Bailey; brother Don; nephew Jack; nieces Sharon and Alexis; and countless friends who came to know David as a proud, dependable Texan- with a bigger heart than he'd ever admit to. He'll be terribly missed. Memorial service to be held Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 3pm at High Point Assembly of God, located at 880 Erby Campbell, Royse City, Texas, 75189.
