On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, Curtis Michael Harrison, loving husband and father of four passed away at age 71. He passed away peacefully in his home in Garland, Texas after a long battle with cancer. He was born January 21, 1948 in Dallas Texas to Leo and Estelle Harrison. Mike married his loving wife Myrna on June 29, 1984. The 3 things he loved most were GOD, his wife and children and all his family. Mike was a graduate of South Oak Cliff High School. He was a devout Christian who loved his church and family. He was always very lively and could talk up a storm. He was always ready to share a joke with anyone that would listen. One of our favorite memories was him saying "Well I have a joke for everyone but I left it laying around here somewhere." Mike loved life and enjoyed all kinds of sports and loved to travel. He always enjoyed going to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren's activities no matter what it was. He was very proud of them all. Mike was preceded in death by his Father Leo, his Sister Barbara and his daughter Jenifer. He is survived by his mother Estelle, Sister Beverly, his loving wife Myrna, son Travis and wife Camille, son James and wife Flora and son Glenn. Grandchildren: Dorian, Alexandria, Sydney, Titus, Charlie, Jonisun, Jace, Danika, Jennifer, Jamie. Great Grandchildren: Gage and Aubree. Several nieces, nephews, cousins. Mike was dearly loved by many. We will all miss his beautiful smile, his loving nature, his witty mind and of course his jokes In lieu of flowers Mike has asked that a donation be made in his memory to Calvary Hill Baptist Church 3300 La Prada Drive Mesquite, Texas 75150.
