Henry Leroy Brown Accepted Christ As His Lord & Savior

Henry Leroy Brown's sunrise was on September 30th,1958 in Independence, Kansas. His sunset was on August 24th, 2026 at 6:58 pm in Dallas, Texas. Henry graduated from Caney Valley High School in 1976 located in Caney, Kansas.  During his time at Caney High, he had many names such as “Super Henry Brown”; “The Big Three”, and “The Brown Boys” for his athletic ability and state qualifier achievements. He wrestled on the Caney High School wrestling team and went to state where he achieved several trophies. Henry received first team All Area and honorable All-State in football for Caney Valley High School. He also played baseball and competed in javelin for track. Not only was his presence known on the playing field, but he also served as an officer in the Future Farmers of America. He attended Coffeyville Junior College for two years, then transferred to Kansas State University.  

Henry was an Astro Turf Leader for 10 years.  Henry traveled throughout the US installing astro turf and running tracks for the NFL and other major sporting events. He finished his work career in the Transportation Industry in Dallas, TX. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching sports, beating his daughter in Sudoku, and playing Texas Holdem & Bingo with family and friends.

Henry was united with his loved ones in eternal peace, including his parents James and Oma Brown, and his brother Kenneth Brown. He was blessed with a loving family including his wife of 28 years, Felicia Ann Brown, and daughter Randi Renee Brown; His siblings Tony Brown (Toni), Wayne Brown (Pam), Mary-Ann Brown. He was loved by GoodBar Recreation Center, located in Mesquite, Texas, and his chosen brothers and road dogs for life Irving Henderson III,  Gaines Evans and Darrell Young.

Repass Information: Following the service, those wishing to continue visiting with the immediate family are invited to gather at Spring Creek Barbeque, 3335 N. President George Bush Hwy, Garland, TX 75040. Each attendee will be responsible for their individual meal.
