“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) Mary Cristina Eudy, a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, a faithful wife, and passionate music educator, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on April 8, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Born on July 28,1973, in Dallas, Cristi lived a life defined by faith, joy, and a deep commitment to nurturing young hearts through music. She loved Jesus with all her being and made it her mission to share His light wherever she went. Her favorite verse, Proverbs 3:5-6, guided her daily walk and became a source of comfort and wisdom for countless students, friends, and family members. A gifted musician and dedicated teacher, Cristi found her calling in teaching music to children. She had a special way of connecting with kids—whether through joyful songs of praise, classical pieces, or simple melodies that made learning fun and meaningful. Her classrooms and music programs were filled with laughter, creativity, and the unmistakable presence of the Lord. Many of her former students remember her not only as an inspiring teacher but as a mentor whose faith and kindness left a lasting impression on their lives.
She is survived by her husband, Aubrey, her mother, Coleen King, her sister, Candace Molsbee (Richard), of Nocona, her brothers-in-law, Gary Eudy (Tina), of Houston, William Eudy (Amye), of Goldthwaite, and Jeff Priddy, of Nocona, her sisters-in-law, Barbara Barnes (Kerry) of Jones, Oklahoma, and Lanna Whittle (David) of Lufkin, best friend, who is like a sister, Jennifer Edmondson (Clint) of Wichita Falls, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry King, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Lou Eudy.
A celebration of Cristi’s life will be held at Mesquite Church of Christ on April 13, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation at Mesquite Church of Christ at 10:00 a.m., and graveside service in Nocona, Texas, at 4:00 p.m.
Cristi will be remembered as a woman who walked by faith, poured love into the next generation through music, and pointed everyone toward her beloved Savior. Her legacy of faith and joy continues in the hearts of all who knew her. “Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your master.” (Matthew 25:23)
