Margaret Helen Morgan Holmes
It is with a heavy heart I announce the passing of my mom, Margaret Helen Morgan
Holmes. She was known to her family as Aunt Helen. On February 1, 2025 (13 days
before her 100 th birthday, mom gained entrance to her eternal home with her Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ. There waiting for her were many loved ones who had gone before
her including her Husband Hugh D. Holmes and multiple brothers and sisters. Heaven
gained the most beautiful soul who was still singing and praying for others. Even
though dementia had stolen some of her memories it never stole her love for her Lord
and others. Mom was loved by everyone she met and most of the time she was the life
of the party. During her lifetime she though herself into ministry from preaching to
teaching and even smuggling bibles to China.
Margaret was born on February 14,1925 in Santa Fe, Oklahoma. She is survived by her
daughter Lynn Nava, 2 grandchildren Shawn K Nava and Nicole Cloud-McNatt, multiple
great grandchildren and her baby sister Gerri Richardson. She was proceeded in death
by 3 brothers (J.P. Morgan, William Morgan, and Tom Morgan) and 4 sisters Louise
French, Ruby Eastwood, Joy Kinsinger, and Barbara Matthews.
