Karen Kay Elliott, 70, passed away on March 15, 2024, in Rockwall, Texas surrounded by family.
She was born on April 17, 1953 in Dallas, Texas to Stuart and Francis Wells. Karen graduated
from Lake Highlands High School in 1971 and then went on to attend Eastfield and Richland Jr
College. She then went to work for Western Electric for over 40 years.
Karen married James Elliott on August 17, 1974 in Dallas, Texas. The couple had two daughters
Vanessa and Andrea.
Karen enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her two grandsons. She
enjoyed going camping and sightseeing across the country. She also enjoyed many hobbies like
sewing, scrapbooking, woodworking, and painting, just to name a few.
Karen is survived by her husband Jim Elliott, brother Dale Wells, daughters Vanessa Conner and
husband Matthew, Andrea Holland and husband Phillip. Grandchildren Brenden and Levi. Along
with her extended family and friends.
Karen was preceded in death by her father Stuart Stanley Wells, mother Francis Louise Wells,
and brother Keith Duane Wells.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday March 30th, at 11:00am, at Edgemont Park Baptist
Church, 1804 Hickory Tree Rd, Mesquite, TX 75149.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a
donation to their favorite charity in Karen Elliott’s name.
