Ronald (Ron) Lee Hoover

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald (Ron) Lee Hoover, who left this
world on October 25, 2023. Ron was born on October 19,1939 in Denver, Colorado to Fritz and
Zoe Mae Hoover.
Ron married his first wife Cindy in 1957. Together they had 3 beautiful girls, Jeanie, Donna and
Diane. After divorcing in 1964, Ron met Audrey and they married in 1965. This blended family
doubled as Audrey had 3 children, Lisa, Cyndee and Scott, of her own. Together Ron and
Audrey added 2 more children, Christy and Robert, to their already large family.
Ron managed bowling centers for most of his life and when he decided to leave his bowling
career, he and Audrey traveled the country for a while managing La Quinta Inns. When they
finally decided to retire, they settled down on the coast in Seadrift, Texas. Here they spent
many years and enjoyed having family visit year round. Some of the best memories were
Thanksgiving day when everyone would come together and celebrate.
Ron is survived by his brother Dave and his wife Sherry, his children Jeanie Hoover, Donna
Sorensen and her husband, Jeff, Diane Ault and her husband Jeri, Lisa Bone and her husband
Lysander, Cyndee Henderson and her husband Brooks, Scott Hansen and his wife Kathy,
