Robin Rae Nord

Robin Rae Seeger was born April 2, 1964 to George Seeger and Lois (Schantzen)
Seeger. She grew up in Grand Forks, ND attended public school and graduated with
honors from Red River High School in 1982. Robin graduated from UND with
degrees in music and education.
She taught band at a school in Minnesota for several years. She co-managed a
hardware store with her first husband (one year they were voted best hardware store
by an organization for hardware store owners/managers). She volunteered as an EMT
assistant.
Robin had a strong Christian faith that influenced her life choices. Always wanting to
share her faith and minister to others, she volunteered for several organizations and
eventually went back to school to become a massage therapist. This was truly her
niche, helping people physically, as well as sharing her faith with them.
Robin married her soul mate, John Nord, and moved to Texas with her beloved dogs,
Mel and Mindy. Although she traded cold winters for hot summers, Robin did not
forget her ND roots. She remained a loyal UND hockey fan, recruiting John to be a
fan too.
She worked for over 10 year at Massage Envy. She loved to share with her husband
every night the ways she interacted with her clients (relieving their physical pain and
discomfort while caring for clients that she believed God brought to her to minister
His mercy and compassion). On her way to work (via DART) she would pass out
bologna sandwiches, that she had prepared the night before, to anyone who was in
need.
She shared with others that her main purpose was to take care of her husband. Her
husband reports she did everything “well”. They loved each other dearly to the very
end.
Robin went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023,
robed in eternal peace and love. She is survived by her husband, John, brother, Rory
Seeger, sister, Michelle (Chris) Larsen, her step children (Jerry, Carla, and Bethany)
and her grandchildren (Michael, Kyle, Catlyn, Cassius, and Benjamin).

John’s ex-wife WSMB , New Mexico

Robin and I have been friends for 11 years. She was always compassionate and caring about others. Her faith in her Lord shouted volumes everywhere she went. She struggled with her illness for a year and we chatted 2-3 times a week. She definitely loved her husband, and family and would go the extra extra extra mile to show her love for ALL of us. She became a wonderful friend and I will truly miss her.
