Bruce Roland Strannemar SR

1943-2023

Born in Uppsala Sweden and grew up in Kearny N.J.  He died at his home in Garland, TX, July 15, 2023.  Preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Karin K Strannemar, brother Peter and wife Karin A Strannemar.  Bruce loved camping, traveling, woodworking, bicycling and spending time at the beach.  He is survived by children BJ, Christine, Laura, and Todd, 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.  Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at Eastgate Funeral Home in Garland, TX on Saturday September 30^th at 10AM.  His cremains will be interred with Karin’s in Raleigh N.C. at a later date.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinsons Foundation.
