Mary Ann Mayo
Mary Ann Mayo was born May 28, 1928 in Wolfe City, Texas to parents John T. Jobe and Abbie Jane Carothers Jobe. She passed from this life on August 24, 2023 at the age of 95.
Mary Ann and Gerald Wesley Mayo were married in June1952 and they made Garland their home. They both worked at Kraft Foods and she retired in 1988 after 38 years. Gerald preceeded her in death in 2013.
Mary Ann took great pride in her yard. She loved flowers and spent many hours planting, watering, and weeding. She was an excellent cook and when you visited it, was common for her to send you home with something she had prepared.
Mary Ann is survived by nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
