Margie Delores Cater
Margie D. Cater (Gregson), beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, passed away on July 27, 2023, following a long illness. She was 81 years old, born on November 20, 1941, to Mary Lou (Eastham) and David Gregson. She is survived by her sister Ola Mae Hudspeth, her husband of 50 years, Jim Bob Cater; and her children Devadeva Cater and spouse Citravasini, Melissa Robinson and spouse Rebecca, Mary Cater and spouse Angela), Nichole Glover and spouse Robert, Erin Cater and her partner Nathan. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Zoe, Ashlyn, Samuel, Maxwell, Mage, Matthew, Pedayatra, Kanai, Lilly and Elise. Great grandchildren Jayden, Talon, Lana and Grayson.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Lou and David, Brother, John and sisters Lilly, Mary Lou, David Ann, Sally, Kitty and grandson Noah.
The viewing will be held August 9th at Eastgate Funeral Home in Garland from 4-6 pm. We will have a Rosary from 6-7 pm. The funeral will be held August 10th at Eastgate Funeral Home in Garland at 10 am. We will leave at 11:30 am to go to the DFW National Cemetery for her graveside service to be held at 1:00 pm.

Margie was loved and will be missed by me, my family and many others. She will be remembered with smiles and laughs brought up by many memories of her wit and humor. Hope she is dancing and singing with her family right now.
