Max Allen Crabb

Max Crabb, a beloved father passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 89. He was born on
December 21, 1933, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to his parents Hazel and Alvie. Max grew up in
Wichita Falls and Sulfur Springs, Texas. As a senior he moved to Dallas, Texas where he
graduated from Sunset High School. Max had a diverse career working in corporate finance and
landscaping. Many irrigation systems in the most prominent homes and commercial properties
in the Dallas metropolitan area were installed by Max’s company. Max had a green thumb and
a heart of gold. Max loved his time serving in the Navy as a Radar Technician. His most treasured times though
were fishing in East Texas or the Canadian Rockies, visiting his sons in Sedona, Arizona, and
watching football or baseball at home with family. Family is what Max cared about most.
Max is survived by his three sons, Robert, Michael, Doug, and his sister Sue. His beloved wife,
Bunny Crabb predeceased him in 2007. Max, his warmth, kindness, and humor will be deeply missed by his extended family and
friends. A graveside funeral service will be held at Hilcrest Cemetery at 9:30 am on
July 5 th . In lieu of flowers, in remembrance of Max’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations
be made to: Wounded Warrior Project.
