I met Jerry many times either at parties or at school. He was such a nice guy, and I enjoyed our conversation very much! Beverly, I know you loved Jerry so much and took very good care of him. At this point, I have no better words to comfort you, but believe Jerry would very much liked to see you getting back to and enjoying your normal life! Please let us know if there is anything we can do!

I am deeply saddened to learn of Jerry’s passing. He was a big influence in my life as the father of one of my best friends, Ragan. Jerry seemed to truly understand us boys. He loved to joke, laugh, and horse around with us. He also loved to talk about life, and he always did so at our level, not so much as a parental figure but as a teacher who celebrated our achievements and learning. He was larger than life and had a unique, lovable personality. I am grateful for him and the positive role he played in my life.
