Elmer Glenn Burns

Elmer Glenn Burns came into this world on Saturday, March 24, 1945 and
Departed to be with the Lord on Sunday May 28, 2023.
Glenn was born to Elmer and Opal Burns, (both deceased) and was the middle
child of three, with JoAnn King, the oldest and is survived by, Cynthia Marsh, the
youngest. There are also nieces, nephews, cousins, inlaws, and outlaws, and other
family to numerous to list, but his family and few friends were precious to him.

Glenn was born at Baylor Dallas and spent all of his young years in Seagoville and
Kleberg, before marrying the only woman he ever loved, Linda Sue Burns, who
went to be with the Lord a short time ago, and is awaiting him.
He has met many friends at all the places he has lived, Pleasant Grove, Dallas,
Greenville, Grapevine, Mesquite, Lindale, Lancaster, Waxahachie, and finally
Bardwell, Tx to live with his only child, Kim Burns-Perrymore, and late Son-in-Law,
Curtis Perrymore, and his only grandson, Jonathan Glenn Perrymore, who is
named after him.

He has worked many jobs and had a great number of skills, and he would help
almost anybody, but the one job he loved the most was teaching young men a
skill and how to get along in the world as a Vocational Ed Teacher.

In his final days, he was at home with personal caregivers, Angie Choate and
Gwenn Harris and Bristol Home Health . They promptly spoiled him with
whatever he needed or wanted, they have all been a blessing not only to Glenn,
but for the entire family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 on Saturday June 3, 2023, with the funeral at 11:00,
followed by graveside at RoseLawn Cemetery, Seagoville, Texas
