Carol Ann Crawford

Carol Ann Crawford was born on March 15, 1933 in Saukville, Wisconsin. At 18, she got a job with the FBI in Milwaukee. 6 months later, wanting to get away from Wisconsin, she asked to be transferred to Dallas, TX for the "good people" (Texans) and Neiman Marcus. She hoped on a train with her footlocker and never looked back. She was an accomplished pianist/accompanist and a whiz at typing and shorthand. She worked at her beloved FBI until at 25, she met and married Bob Crawford after about 6 dates and had to quit to move to Austin with him. They were happily married for 60 years, until his death in 2017. She leaves behind 3 daughters, Dr Kimberly Crawford, Kelly Selaiden (Bob), and Ann LaLanne (Chuck), 7 grandchildren: Kendall Walker, Hank Wells, Katy Ryder, Alec Davis, Clint Wells, Jake LaLanne and Coleman Davis, and 4 great grandchildren: Graham, Bowen, Henry and Leah. She was a smart, funny, fiercely independent spitfire that lived life her own way. She will be greatly missed.
