Cecil Wayne Pope Born May 17, 1954 Passed January 3, 2023

Wayne Pope, age 68, passed from this earth to his heavenly home on January 3, 2023. He

leaves behind his loving wife, Donna, his daughter Tina Worth and husband Ed; sister-in-law

Wanda Pope; sister Darlene Haake and husband Greg; brother David Pope and wife Robin;

sister-in-law Kim Pope; step son Joshua Small and wife Kristen; stepson Jeremy Small and wife

Rebekah; also, his father-in-law Don Holt; brother-in-law Terry Holt and wife; and brother-in-

law Bob Holt. Wayne was most proud of his grandchildren who brought him so much joy. They

include Stone Small, Titus Small, Ram Small, Holly Hill, Luke Small, Cooper Worth, Hudson Hill,

Lola Small and baby Small. Wayne is survived by many, much loved nieces, nephews, cousins,

aunts and uncles. His family meant the world to him and he loved spending time with them

over the years. Wayne was a very kind man and loved wholly and unconditionally to the best of

his ability. He had innumerable friends and acquaintances over his lifetime, who feel his loss.

Wayne never forgot to thank God for every small thing and loved our Lord with all his heart. His

faith was amazing to me. Wayne was preceded in death by his father E.C. Pope and mother

Janie Pope; brother Alvin Pope, brother Paul Pope and brother Rodney Pope. Lastly, Wayne

loved his children and was a mentor, encourager and friend to so many students on his routes

for over 20 years. He would see students years later who commented on the impact he had on

their lives. We will all continue to love and miss you until we meet again. I want to especially

thank all our family, friends, doctors and nurses attending to Wayne and our church family for

the love and support you have shown us during this time.
