Lt Colonel Lupe Leal USAF Ret.
Lupe Sambrano Leal passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 87 in Dallas, TX. He was born on December 12, 1935 in Edna, TX to Eufemia (Zambrano) Gonzales.
Lupe was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired with the rank of Lt. Colonel. He was the owner of The Colonel's Electronics Shop.
He loved building and programming computers, fixing electrical equipment, ballroom dancing, playing the piano, golf and traveling with his family.
He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew him.
Survivors include wife Beatrice (Estrello) Leal, daughter Sylvia and her husband Gary Longley, grandsons Daniel and Michael Longley, son David and his wife Linda, and son Gilbert Leal.
The viewing will be at Eastgate Funeral Home at 1910 Eastgate Dr, Garland, TX on December 28, 2022 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Funeral service will be held at Restland Cemetary, Memorial Chapel 13005 Greenville Avenue Dallas, TX on December 29 at 10:00AM. Internment will also be at Restland immediately following the funeral service.
