Freda passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 15, 2022 in Dallas, Texas

surrounded by her sister and nephew. She was born in Memphis, Texas and the

family later moved to Dallas.

Freda was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin A. and Thelma E. Nolen and

brother, Edward Allen Nolen.

Freda is survived by her sister Jeanie Nolen Leao and brother Alvin Nolen and his

wife Ynez. Additional survivors include son, Robert Nolen and wife Misty;

grandchildren, Robert Nolen, Jr. and Amber Nolen; and great-granddaughter,

Emmalyn Nolen, along with many nieces and nephews.
