Reta Clark McDonald, age 76, passed away peacefully at her home on
September 29, 2022.
She was the daughter of Henry and O’Reta Clark and was born on June 14,
1946 in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School
in 1963, where she met the love of her life, Harold McDonald. She
attended Draughon Business College and received her certificate in 1964.
Reta and Harold married on July 31, 1965. It was time to start their family
and on June 20, 1968, their daughter Alicia was born.
Reta loved music and if it was playing she was dancing. She liked to
decorate her home for the holidays and having family and friends over for
her yearly Christmas party. She loved spending time outdoors whether it
was in her backyard, at the lake fishing, or walking on the beach. She
enjoyed crocheting and knitting and made some beautiful throws. She and
Harold spent many weekends going to the Dirt Track races throughout the
years.
Reta is preceded in death by her father, Henry Clark and her mother,
O’Reta Clark, mother-in-law Geraldine Davis, and brother-in-law, Lucky
McDonald.
She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Harold McDonald, daughter
Alicia McKinney, granddaughter, Erika West, and grandson, Broc McKinney
along with several cousins and many life long friends. She is in Heaven
now, but will always be loved, remembered, and missed!
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 12:00 at Eastgate Funeral
