Anne Stella Duyka Jakubik born in Texarkana, TX November 21, 1928 went to heaven on August 19,2019. She grew up in Kaufman, TX and married Henry George Jakubik and moved to Dallas where they had 5 children: Carol Anne, Margaret, Robert, Antonie, & Kathleen. They were members of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Dallas for over 50 years. The years gave her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she enjoyed having over to her house. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and sharing meals with her family. Even though she lived in a small house, it was not uncommon to have the "whole family" gather for lunches on Sunday or Holidays. The crowded house and homecooked meals made special memories for everyone. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry, daughter Carol Anne, son Robert, and her daughter who died at birth, Antonie. She was a strong lady who fought to the very end of her life, living alone until the day she passed at age 90. Her body got tired and she was called to Heaven to be with the Lord. She will be missed by so many as she was a very important part of so many lives. Everything had to be run by "Grandma or GG" before it could happen! She will be dearly missed here on earth but she is looking down on us from Heaven and holding her other children in her arms now. The family asks that memorials be made to the Sonshine Center Day Program for Adults with Special Needs.
