Troy David Chandler was born July 23, 1939 in Terrell, TX and went to be with the Lord January 18, 2015 in Dallas, TX. Troy is preceded in death by his parents, Noble and Lorraine Chandler, sister Velda Faye Tatum and brother Randy Chandler. He will be deeply missed by many loved ones and friends. Troy is survived by his brother Jerry Donald Chandler, nephews Spence Dean Jones, Franklin Andrew Tatum, Charles William Tatum, JD Chandler and Chuck Chandler. Nieces Linda Lavern Tatum, Sheri Renee Tatum, Pam Parker, Robbie Rich, Donna McGowan and numerous great nieces & nephews. Troy was a member of the United States military from September 1958 to June 1961. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. When Troy was not working he was doing visitation or working at the church. Troy loved and spoke highly of his church family. They meant so much to him. The visitation for Troy will be held at Eastgate Funeral Home located at 1910 Eastgate Dr, Garland, TX 75041 on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service for Troy will be held on at the Second Baptist Church located at 9780 Ferguson Rd, Dallas, TX 75228 at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 22, 2015. Troy will be buried at DFW Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas TX 75211 at 10:15 AM Friday January 23, 2015. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to your favorite charity in memory of Troy David Chandler.
