Anita Virginia Loe passed away August 1, 2019 in Sunnyvale, Texas. Anita was born in Waxahachie, Texas on December 10, 1932 to Sheriff Joseph Leonard Loe and Odes Grantham Loe. She grew up in Waxahachie where her father was the Sheriff of Ellis County, and she was the youngest of 9 siblings. Anita was best known for her servant's heart, which started with her father's passing when she was 6 years old. She spent the rest of her life caring for those around her - her mother, siblings, nieces, nephews and countless friends. Anita graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas and went on to work in Accounting at KRLD-TV CBS Channel 4 in downtown Dallas. A few years later, she moved to Washington DC to work on Capitol Hill as the Executive Director for Legislate. Anita was a beloved daughter, sister and aunt. She was a longtime member of Skillman Avenue Church of Christ, and supported many charitable organizations. Though Anita never married or had children of her own, she was adopted by her nieces and nephews. She is survived by 3 generations of nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at 1:30PM on Wednesday, August 7 at Christian Care Center, Memorial Auditorium in Mesquite, Texas. The funeral service will begin at 2:30PM at the same location. Following the service, burial will take place at Hillcrest Burial Park in Waxahachie. The family asks that donations be made to The American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers, as Anita was a 5-time cancer survivor.
