Molly Fish

Molly Fish, surrounded by family, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 11, at Freeman Heights Baptist Church, Garland, TX, with Rev. Larry Venable officiating. Molly was born September 27, 1934, in Havana, Arkansas to Porter and Ratha Wiser. She was a star player on her high school basketball team and enjoyed participating in school musicals. She was married to Wesley Fish on September 25, 1953. She was a Proverbs 31 woman, lovingly and loyally serving and teaching her family by example as no one else could. She faithfully served in many roles in every church they attended; from Girl's Auxiliary to WMU to the Forever Young Club, Quilting Club and church secretary to name a few. She worked at Heather Glen Elementary for several years as a classroom aide. She enjoyed music, sewing for her family, reading, gardening, selling antiques and treasures at "Molly's Place" and entertaining and encouraging her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Porter and Ratha Wiser, one sister and six brothers. She is survived by her loving husband for over 65 years, Wesley Fish. A daughter, Nancy Spahn and husband, Tom, of Fort Smith, AR, a son, Bruce Fish and wife Devona, of Rowlett, TX, a daughter, Cynthia Ellison and husband, Troy, of Waco, TX. Nine grandchildren: Aaron, Micah, Cory, Rachel, Garrett, Hannah, Jordan, Amanda and Sarah. Four great grandchildren: Cooper, Parker, Beckett and Hadleigh, One brother, Roger "Bug" Wiser of Havana, AR. Two sisters, Ida Sue Hall of Belleville, AR and Betty Reed of Hensley, AR. and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Brookdale Lake Brazos and Providence Hospice Place for their loving care.
