With great sadness, the family of Patricia Ann Pierce announces her passing, April 12, 2019, age 88. The memorial mass will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, May 10th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Richardson, Texas. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years: Aidan Pierce; daughter Kathleen (Steven) Hoye; sister Mary Lou (Stephen) Nagy; daughter-in-law Penny Pierce; niece Kimberly (Victor) Reyes; grandchildren: Stephanie (Chris) Quinn, Adrienne Pierce, Rebecca Pierce, Scott Hoye, Leslie Hoye; great granddaughter Ophelia Quinn and great nephew Stevin Reyes. Pat loved all forms of needlework, especially crocheting. Her skills were amazing and she was always willing to teach others, share patterns and donate lovingly created items. She had recently joined the Tuesday Prayer Shawl Ministry at St. Joseph's Church. For years she and Aidan made hand stitched greeting cards that have been treasured by many. In her younger years she volunteered thousands of hours at Memorial Hospital and Baylor Medical Center in Garland. Pats favorite times were those spent traveling with her husband and members of the Jolly Good Sam's Camping Club, square dancing with K-Bar-C, the Wednesday Ladies Card Club, and socializing with St. Joseph's Circle of Friends. Pat was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Mildred Pagel and son Richard Pierce.
