Chloe Carlisle Frye, age 75, was born in Rochester, NY on August 14, 1943, and passed away on January 10, 2019, in Plano, TX after a lengthy illness. Chloe is survived by her son, Carlyle Johanson, Jr. (C.J.), her daughter, Julie Johanson, her step-son, Brian Frye, his wife, Amanda, their four children and three grandchildren, and her brother, Jeff Thompson. She is preceded in death by her father, Harry C. Thompson, her mother, Betty Rossman Thompson, her sister-in-law, Jean Thompson, and in 2015, her husband, Alvin Frye. Chloe, a resident of Wylie, TX, was a loyal Macy's employee for over twenty years. Always sporting purple nail polish and immaculate dress, she was an advocate for animals and enjoyed sharing stories about her horses, her dog, Dakota, and her recently departed kitty, Mr. T. A private memorial will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chloe's charities of choice, St. Jude Children's Research or DFW Pup Patrol Rescue.
