Mary Jane Bearden, age 85, died 1-9-2019, in Richardson, Texas. Mary Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Don. She is survived by her children: Don Jr, Minneapolis, MN; Paul Sr, Clear Lake, MN; Joe I, Fate, TX; Daneen, Richardson, TX; and 13 grandchildren. Mary Jane was born in east Carondelet, IL, in 1933. She lived in Toledo, OH until 1969. She attended McKinley Grade School, graduated from DeVilbiss School, and graduated from the College of Education at Toledo University. Mary Jane taught second grade in the Washington local school system in Toledo. In Brooklyn Center, MN, she taught for eight years in the Title I Program at Earle Brown Elementary school and was involved in the children's ministry of Harron United Methodist Church. In Texas, she was involved in the children's ministry and worked ten years in the Mother's Day Out program of Central Park Church as a teacher and then as the director.
