Frederick Lee Moss was born on January 25, 1953 to E.J. and Pearline Moss in Dallas, Texas. He went to meet his Lord and Savior on December 24, 2018. Fred is survived by his daughter, Joni Moss and her husband George, son Daylon Moss and his wife Leila, and daughter Danielle Pruitt and husband Daniel. He leaves behind his loving mother, Pearline Finney, his beloved brother Randy Moss and wife Karen, sister Debra Euziere and husband Patrick, eight (8) grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who will mourn his loss. He was preceded in death by his father E.J. Moss, step-father P.N. Finney, and brother Larry Moss. Fred especially loved his grandchildren, each and everyone of them. Joni's children: Christina, T.J., and Michael, Daylon's children: Thomas, Parker, and Aiden, and Danielle's children: Alexis and Liam. He spent many happy hours with them all, enjoying their youth and enthusiasm for life. These "kids" no matter their age, were the joy of his life. Fred graduated from Garland High School in 1971, and maintained many friends from these early years. Affectionately known to his family as "Freddy". He was a longtime member of Rodgers Baptist Church where he met many friends that he loved and who loved him throughout the years. If you are here today and knew Fred, you know that God blessed him with a friendly, outgoing personality. A born salesman, he was ever-ready with a joke, a hug, and a huge smile that could light up a room. His professional life was spent in construction and sales, where he also met and maintained many friendships. Once Fred met you, he never forgot you, and once a friend, you were counted as one for life. Fred loved people and loved life, he had a heart as big as Texas, and shared his love of life with everyone. During this sad time as family and friends mourn his loss, we are confident that he is in a better place than we are here today. He is with Jesus now, with no more illness, pain or worries. He is in Heaven! Praise be to God! Fred would want each one here to celebrate his life rather than mourn, remember the good times, the laughter and love that you shared with him. Make the most of every day that God gives each of you, until you meet again in our heavenly home. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM, at Rodgers Baptist Church, 801 West Buckingham Road. Garland, Texas.
