Hazel Ruth Thompson, born October 31, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri. Passed away November 27, 2018 at the age of 90. She was married 57 years to Raymond L. Thompson (died September 8, 2003). She leaves her daughter, Beverly Mormon and husband James, of Mesquite son, Donald Thompson and wife Nita, of Cedar Park, TX. Her grandchildren are Barry Thompson and wife Jamie, of Kaufmann, TX, Robin May and husband Chris, of Katy, TX, Lindsay Thompson of Austin, TX, Ted Mynyk and wife Kathi, of Fort Worth, TX, Andrew Mynyk and wife Haylee, of Austin, TX Her great grandchildren are Jared Alphin, Hannah May, T.J. Mynyk, Courtney Mynyk, Killian Mynyk, Bristol Mynyk, Leighton Mynyk, Corrin Mynyk, Adreanna Spoon, Martin Spoon, Nathaniel Mendoza Ruth was one of five children born to Dallas and Hazel Cooley. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Wilson Cooley, James Carl Cooley, and Norman Cooley and a sister, Florene Thomas. She is survived by nieces, Sue Sisk, Mary Gardner, Dana Cooley and nephews, Norman Cooley and Jim Cooley.
