STOVALL, JAMES AUBREY (JIMMY), Passed away on November 21, 2018 at his home in Heath, Texas. He was born on August 8, 1933 in Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Lin Stovall. Jimmy founded Stovall's Cycle in 1961 as a Yamaha Franchise. He spent his best days either fishing, racing motorcycles, or restoring vintage BSA & Yamahas. On any given day, you could find him sitting at the front counter of the shop with a Dr. Pepper in hand. Everyone always knew you could find him there. He is survived by his children and their spouses: Sharon & Troy Whatley, Mark & Carolyn Stovall, and Shon & Tina Stovall. He is survived by his grandchildren: Jason Whatley, Amanda & Shane Tipton, and Ray, Katie, & Kristina Stovall. He had 4 great grandchildren: Charlie, Will, & Henry Tipton, and Dylan Whatley. He is also fondly remembered by his many lifelong friends. Visitation will be held at Eastgate Funeral Home in Garland from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018 and a gravesite service will be held on November 28, 2018 at 10 am at Restland Cemetery in Dallas. Jimmy and Lin always had a soft spot in their hearts for their many rescued cats and dogs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the SPCA of Texas.
